According to this study, a new form of CJD has emerged from COVID. This form is caused by an element present in all variants of COVID except the latest Omicron variants (it apparently mutated itself out of existence and people who catch COVID for the first time past this point are safe). This includes ALL VACCINES because they use the template of the virus for spike protein creation from when it had the possible prion-triggering agent.
This is worrying news. Not guaranteed to be a catastrophe, but very possibly one. So far only about 50 cases were discovered, but there is no telling how many were unreported or are latent. The dormancy period for CJD can be anywhere from 1 to 50 years, with an average of around 10. This new vaccine-induced variant is relatively unknown at the moment, but it could possibly cripple thousands to millions of individuals if these occurrences have high average latency periods as well.

Prion diseases take between 1 and 50 (average 10) years to become symptomatic. Once they do, afflicted individuals rarely make it more than a few months, as their brain is basically disintegrating while they're alive.
