Hello Any Forums, I am travelling to San Francisco and Sacramento this weekend for a vacation. I live in remote, rural Canada, and have never been to the US. What am I in for? Is there a likely chance I will get robbed/shot if I look like a tourist with an expensive camera, or does the media overblow the crime? What should I do there to get an American experience?

I have been there twice in the last 11 years. Once for work and once for a wedding. Don’t go there unless you have business there. It is a steaming shit hole. Prepare to be kept up all night in your hotel from various noises of insane homeless people.

you probably wont get robbed/assaulted, you will definitely see and smell tons of homeless people. You have to be in certain places at certain times to be hit by crime and if you stick to tourist areas during the day and before 12pm you should be perfectly safe.

They are around a lot of the downtown areas. Go to any center of a major city and you will find them. You are bound to see one, I promise, but you are not going to get stabbed or robbed. Just dont be an idiot and walk around the streets after midnight and you will be fine. Its worse in certain areas, and just fine in the others for the most part.

I'm from Sacramento. The train museum is pretty interesting, or the SMUD museum of science and curiosity if you have kids.
Tourists with expensive looking cameras are specifically targeted in SF. Niggers look for rental cars and will break into it even if you leave your stuff in the trunk, or will rob you while you are stuck in traffic, or just point a gun at you while you are walking around in broad daylight. The cops will tell you to just fuck off if they even show up.
