I make a steady 2400 a month by being a mechanic. I have a daughter at home and I take care of her. My wife sadly passed away recently.
I cant afford stuff anymore, its getting rideculous and I dont want to get to that point that my daughter starts to notice we are short on cash. It used to be more than enough to support me and her, but now it barely cuts it.
- 200 on house bills - 400 on gas - 700 on rent - 148 for home and car insurance - 50 phone bill (me and my daughter) - 600 in groceries - 60 road tax - 200 for the occasional beer, or taking my daughter out, or giving her money if she is short.
Why are my groceries expensive? Its because I unfortunately have to eat a shit ton of food in the day or else I lose weight rapidly. And we do take out/sushi every friday.
$18k for 2 people is poverty income to begin with. I'm in a similar situation with my son. I started riding my bike to work to save gas. My Spectrum cable TV just jacked up from $80 to $200, so I guess now I'll be shopping for bargain basement internet too.

Be entrepenurial. Do people need their oil changed, don't know how - and don't want to drive to the mechanic? Offer a mobile oil change gig. People are locked out of their car? Be a auto lock smith. Think user, the reason why you did over a decade of schooling is because it killed your imagination. Write down 10 ways to make money every day, and don't stop. >t. Don't care about your weight this much. Eat enough, have pleasure, don't overdo it

Are you OK user? You're not telling me that gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind, are you? What? Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition? That's just crazy talk user, take your meds.

>600 in groceries >2 people stop being wasteful

get an iptv, its 100 bucks for a year and you get all the channels and movies. you can get em on chinese websties you should really look into it.
> 50 phone bill Look into a company called “Ting”. Mega carriers rent their cell towers to small company’s, so you can get a Verizon line for like $10. > - 148 for home and car insurance Look into independent insurance brokers. Make sure you pick one that seems unbiased, has plenty options (including local), and a small referral fee. They will find the best option > - 600 in groceries This is tough, either go the “poor peoples free food box” route or look into small churches nearby and explain ur situation.

And use “sling” instead of regular cable. It’s like $25 a month and if you pair it with an AirTV (like $70 refurbished) and some rabbit ear antennas, it will add the local channels to your sling catalog. You can also record shows on an external HDD/USB. Godspeed user.
