At the start of the war Ukraine had 80 Smerch systems (120km range), 70-140 Uragan systems (35km range), 185 Grad systems (35-40km range), 90 Tochka-U tactical missile systems (90km range). Did it help much? Of course it's not good for russia that ukraine gets more weapons, but the quantity we're talking about is very unlikely to change the course of conflict.

Territory means nothing if you lose vast amounts of men and materiel doing it, which impairs your ability to continue to wage war. I would think you would understand this as a Russian and every time Russia was invaded they traded land for time, exactly what Ukraine is doing.
