But I think both extreme left and extreme right is popular because the current system does not provide any solution. The neo liberal capitalism has failed and people are moving to places that offer alternatives.

This. The constant spergery about communism here makes no sense. It's a near dead ideology whose ideologues are either mired in neoliberal idpol causes and as such useless or utterly irrelevant. The neoliberal machine is by far a more present issue.

That's to be expected, modern marxists are generally above average IQ and decently well-read (at least in pro-marxist literature). When you pair in the fact that they believe they have a moral high ground above everyone else since they are supposedly fighting for the common man, it's a huge ego trip, especially compared to the average normie.
Honestly, I respect Marxists a lot more than neolibs. They're wrong of course, but at least they stand for something and have genuine convictions. Plus, now that the jews have abandoned them I sort of pity them, they will never achieve mainstream prominence again without that core cadre that propelled them in the past.
