What is your opinion in feral children and what they say about raising kids? Was thinking about the idea of gender as a social construct and I can't really argue with it in light of how feral children act and behave. Don't think that means it's okay into manipulating into acting like faggots but I'd like some hot takes

Kids dont have a strong sex differentiation in behaviors, that takes time to develop. This is most obvious in babies, babies dont have male or female behaviors.

Are you saying that feral children both male and female don't act differently at all and that this then proves that gender is a social construct? You're not making a clear argument.

No, theres nuance. I said that male/female differentiation takes time to develop. Baby males and females are nearly identical and so are toddlers. Over time their behavior becomes more differentiated. And you may be 30 and still learn more every day about how women are even more different than you thought possible

I've had this argument with my family. I don't think children have (mental) genders until about 10 years. Once the hormones start to kick in they most definitely have genders. They say children act differently almost from birth, but I said they act differently because my family treats them differently from birth.

By the time they are toddlers, males and females are starting to behave differently.

If the OP is talking about children who grow up completely isolated from other humans, first of all that is extremely rare. But when it does happen, the child basically ends up being retarded.
The key thing seems to be language.
If a child reaches a certain age without learning a language, they don't ever develop that ability and their cognitive skills will be severely impaired.
Even if there is nothing physically wrong with their brain and they would be a totally normal person otherwise, if they don't start picking up language by the time they are 3-4, they won't be able to think like a normal human.
