idk, a lot of the issues with respect to inflation (worsened by tariffs on our largest trading partners that are still in effect, making our many imports pricier) and trade (see that last thing, especially regarding imports of subcomponents for the 3 things still made in the US seem like they'd happen even if jorgensen had become president lol
I can't really see the keystone xl being just under construction instead of cancelled now or an OPEC still trying to recoup on its massive 2020 profit losses under Trump making things better on the energy side either as far as most americans are concerned, which would be at the pump. Forget about deficit reduction too. At least trump would be shameless enough to simpky declare we 'won' the trade war and at least reverse the tariffs to say he was doing 'something' to make a real impact on inflation though. Itd be cool if he bombed the saudis into pumping more but we all know the real reason crown prince MBS gave Javanka 2 billion dollars out of the blue to invest with.
The afghanistan abomination at the end was pretty awful, but most because in 2019 we signed a treaty telling the taliban we'd leave in may 2021 if they didnt attack US or Afghan govt troops (they at least kept their word on the first part) without the involvement of the Afghan govt...and then decided to instead leave in August but not sneakily abandon the embassy too which wouldve turned out quite a lot better than what actually went down as Miles was hanging out when the Taliban finally won and rolled in.
