A former judge was shot and killed Friday in Wisconsin by a man who had a list of other targets “related to the judicial system,” authorities said.
Police were tight-lipped on unconfirmed reports the gunman belonged to a militia, and that the list also included Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers. The victim, identified only as a “68-year-old male,” has yet to be named.

The judge killed was Michael T. Solovey. His name comes up on a list of people living on the street the homicide took place on and when I google him I can see he was a district attorney in 2014 and was a judge in a small administrative court. He was asked to resign in 2014 but 2016 was his last year as a Judge. The sheriff's office really ripped into him for being incompetent, losing cases and refusing to prosecute others.

How would someone with a list whose point is merely to kill a bunch of people somehow linger around long enough for cops to show up after a neighbor's call following gunshots? And why would he suicide after talking to cops instead of shooting the cops, trying to run, or just suiciding WITHOUT talking to cops?
