yes and no. I do believe the tree and fruit to be rather literal, on some layer at least, but they also stand symbolic for lineages, that is correct. The cursed fig tree in example relates to the jews. (will go into the layers of Genesis in the next post)

That Adam was the first white one is possible, another explenation is that Adam was the first Homo Sapiens Sapiens, with the pre adamites being Homo Erectus, Australo Piticus, Homo Heidelbergensis etc. Cain could here be a Neanderthal.
