good. fuck the west
Literally what
that isn't how it works
Checked.
>this little commie faggot is right though. Burn it all down
>travel 6000mph in straight line
>can only make tiny insignficant course corrections or missile would break apart from force
BREAKING: hypersonic missiles can now be tracked!!!
I can track these in kerbal space program
I don't think you understand the point of hypersonic missiles. There is no point in predicting the path. Even if you knew exactly where it was coming from and where it was going, there is simply nothing you can do to stop it.
In fact hypersonic missiles are pointless from the start anyways, since nuclear submarines are currently unstoppable regardless.
If this was truly the bleeding edge of technology, you would be hearing about it. Stop wasting what little brain power you have.
Nice.
t. imageboard armchair expert on hypersonic weapons and detection systems
>Thing a flies with over 9000 km/h
>Computer are able to predict where impact is imminent
Funfact: i could also predict it but it would take a longer time and the impact would already happened the Moment i had calculated it
>missile is launched
>AI starts calculating
>missile hits target
>AI confirms it was going to hit there.
jej this is like a self disposable ashtray for a motorcycle.
Sure it can. China never lie about their abilities.
When has China ever won a war defending their country?
I hope the Chinks aren't actually lying this time just to make "muh hypersonic" "muh it cannot be stopped" fags shut up.
Tard bro, you know they can manoeuvre extremely effectively, making "prediction" useless. Making a simple prediction based on location, speed and trajectory, is useless unless you have the interception technology to out match it.
The only REAL feasible way I see these things being effectively stopped, is using energy weapons, which have "light speed" interception capability. And in all seriousness there's no way in hell we would KNOW about something as classified/advanced as that in operation.
The science is there, the technology is there, it's just the complications, and "real world" obstacles that have to be over come.

Source: that cartoon Putin has showed at his speech
The rocket probably doesn't work right out of the box. Like most Chinese made shit I buy
>In fact hypersonic missiles are pointless from the start anyways
the point of hypersonic missiles is to disable the advantage of aircraft carriers without going nuclear.
It's not a question of if you can predict it's path fucking retards
If you can predict it's path what do you think you're going to do? Currently the best tech we have to counter projectile nukes is OTHER PROJECTILES.
Meaning your best bet is to collide another object with it in midair, and if you think that's possible at those speeds then you need help.
This is just fear tactics to help justify black budget spending
>china: we have made a hypersonic missile for great china
>also china: now we have made it obsolete
kek
Oh ok I thought this was about nuke delivery, that's sufficiently worrisome
But still predicting it's path is useless
Thing goes from a to b. You put an obstacle on that path because you know the path.
Do you know any obstacle that can deploy in enough time to stop something going mach 7+?
Why would they need that? The US is at least 8 years away from having basic hypersonic technology, probably much longer since congress defunded R&D back in like March.
Metal storm is a thing you know
It was invented by a lawyer in a shed in brisbane
Don't you guys have actual laser and plasma and fucken railgun squad level weapons patented from the 90s? Last time I checked. There's articles on wikijew about it but I'm lazy fren soz
