A) painted a very grim portrait of society B) how does their algorithm work because the videos they showed me made no sense based on my interests. I don’t have social media if that matters.
What stood out the most was the sheer amount of parents (all colors) who coach their kids to be precocious little shits in staged videos. They’re inadvertently creating a generation of failed child stars. I hate to say it but we need to legislate an internet presence age. What I mean is it needs to be illegal to post anyone/use the internet under the age of 18.
they are ai driven. this is the most successful ai software now.

>What stood out the most was the sheer amount of parents (all colors) who coach their kids to be precocious little shits in staged videos. It is so gross. And watching teaches and other professionals try to use it and do the latest trend is so demoralizing. I agree there needs to be some laws. It is incredibly addicting. I remember when my kid asked for tiktok a few years ago, the answer was obviously no, but I was curious so I checked it out. 2 hours later I’m still scrolling for the next video. We don’t let kids drink and smoke so it only makes sense to make some laws about it. I think taking the motivation away and limiting the monetization or something. The parents are just as bad as the kids.
Ethan Young
This is why we chinks limit the hours for kids to use tiktok. you mutts need to learn how ccp handle problems
Evan Barnes
Then why is it so inaccurate for me?
Jackson Robinson
(1) you need to use it more to let it finds your interests.(2) you may do like watching the videos you think you hate
Angel Wright
You’re a good parent. My mom and dad had a strict no MySpace/Facebook rule when I was growing up and then by the time I was 18 I wasn’t interested in any social media, and mentally and emotionally I’m much more well adjusted than my peers. It’s a complete sideshow it’s degrading to put yourself out there like that. These poor babies and kids who have no choice.
Jonathan Flores
I clicked the option for “not interested” and it tells me “ok, we’ll show you less of this content from now on” or whatever and they still show me the same content it’s like kids with cancer and makeup hacks and some other staged mommy blogger cringe with 911 calls sprinkled in.
Aaron Peterson
Goes through all the photos on your phone to determine what you like. China now owns that data, congrats.
Dylan Gray
>I spent 6 hours on Tiktok today enjoy the brain rot
Thomas Diaz
I didn’t give it access to anything
Ayden White
And furthermore even if I did that still wouldn’t explain the videos they’re showing me. It’s mostly memes in my camera roll Well no shit I’m not going to keep doing it curiosity got the better of me and now I’ve seen all that I need to but holy shit what is wrong with these people? Most seem to struggle with varying levels of aphasia.
Jason Cook
>I clicked the option for “not interested” and it tells me “ok, we’ll show you less of this content from now on”
This user... >(2) you may do like watching the videos you think you hate
The algorithm does not care about what you think you like and if you like what you watch at all. The only thing that matters is that if the content makes you stay on TikTok or not.
My recommendation is that you uninstall the app and go and hit the gym. We don't need more weak losers, we need strong men
I spent a while looking at the #progressiveChristianity side of tiktok, unfiltered pure cancer Only laugh I would get was this one based boomer using the tag to call out those fake Christians.
I do hit the gym I’m not a Tiktok addict I only downloaded it yesterday goddamn. I am uninstalling it mainly because there’s no good way to curate content in your feed that actually appeals to you.
I just don’t get Tiktok. Maybe I’m too old (29) but it seems like a lot of fucked up private moments or thoughts set to wildly inappropriate music. Is that the point? Is it ironic?
This is a perfect example of what I mean here it fucking better be ironic but I genuinely can’t tell.
Isaiah Thompson
thanks for the input, vpnbugman. Now kindly, go fuck yourself
Adam Parker
This too! What the fuck is wrong with these people and MY GOD the amount of women spamming their dead babies is fucking beyond disturbing why is that allowed?
> A) painted a very grim portrait of society Most people portray a perfect life, “acts of kindness” are done for like and attention. Theres a lot of degeneracy with the dances, outfits, minors doing the former or adults. A lot of propaganda is pushed and gay shit is pushed like a mofo
>B) how does their algorithm work because the videos they showed me made no sense based on my interests Do not like or comment on videos that you do not have any of your interests, the wya it works, it’ll only show you more of that. Do like and comment on the things you like, it’ll show you more of what you’re interested on but they’ll still try to slip in things you dont like.
Henry Richardson
how fucking self-centered you must be to make a stupid fucking hand game while posting blogshit about your dead son. You take tragedy and make it into a pity trap for social media gain. pathetic.
