Effect of Sanctions on Russian Airlines

Something we dont talk about here is that Russia is heavily dependent on the west for aircraft parts. China despite being an ally has stated they will not provide russia with airplane parts. Which means its possible that in a few short months we could see russian passenger/cargo planes start falling out of the sky.

1 Why do we need planes if planes from Russia are not allowed into most countries of the world?

2 Why did you post an airplane that can be used by Russia that does not have western parts? IL96 and t214 entirely Russian-made

What did u expect from a mutt?

Intelligence?

im assuming you have some boeings and airbuses in the russian fleet.

Russia will be fine. They have a domestic airplane manufacturing industry.

They prepared for this by shifting all non-Russian planes to their lower tier airlines. It took years and Rubles to accomplish, and nobody knew why they did it until now.

i suspect as much i think the mistake America made was thinking Russia was some tinpot dictatorship with low iq serf like a lybia or venezuela. my naive hope is alot of these sanctioned nations that do not have industries beyond tourism and oil start developing their industrial military base.

Iran seems to have some capacity. They reversed engineered a drone though it must be very crude. but obviously they need to go further into engineering.

There doesn't exist a single invention, a single technology that doesn't use western parts in Russia. This is why the decision to attack Ukraine prior to 24th February was doubted by western intelligence. By their logical thinking the invasion shouldn't have happened due to Russia's economic and technological reliance on west.

The war will end with a coup in Kremlin and Ukraine and all post-soviet countries reclaiming all of its rightful territory which has been taken with violence. Russia as such will no longer exist.

>Ukraine shall no longer exist

Fixed that for you. Because if Russia doesn't exist, then the rest of the planet doesnt either.

What the Iranians have built is fucking impressive

I work in aviation industry and to be honest it sucks. 90% of planes components were imported. Our head Sergey Chemizov said that we will produce ssj100, Tu-214 and Il-114 by 2023 from Russian materials. Idk about MC21 but it looks like that project will be frozen.
Also we must use shithole cockroach Ankara to make international flights.

>China despite being an ally has stated they will not provide russia with airplane parts. Which means its possible that in a few short months we could see russian passenger/cargo planes start falling out of the sky.
China will provide airplane parts in a few short months after they invade taiwan

Iran already signed a trade agreement to supply car parts to Russia. Renault owned their biggest car manufacturer in the last few years and, as globohomo fags do, pushed most parts manufacturing to foreign sources. While Russia gets that back together they can work with the Iranians, who have been making their own parts for decades.

For airplanes, you'll be shocked at how sophisticated Russia is.

you are full of shit. post badge with manufacturer name.

The peak of human engineering genius was in the 70-80s of the last century. During the Cold War. During the total embargo of the USSR. All Russian technologies were created at that time and do not require any Western parts, the Soviet scientific base is huge and because of it, Russia is completely self-sufficient in any production. When I read posts like this, I realize that modern Europeans are dumber than African tribes. Sad

They're invading tomorrow. Just got the text from Israel

i used to hate russian aero aesthetics but as i get older they sure are cool. their interiors are a little too utilitarian and they miss out on a lot of creature comforts but i understand it's the history.

Yeah but it's dead end strategy. They accept only cash. Also how will we support their MCU if our specialists underquilified for PW1400 series engines. I think our head just wearing pink glasses.

>believing China will stick to their word & not deal under the table
ngmi

there's no way Russia will stop the PD8 development. The combined jumbo jet project with China could be paused, for lack of need. MC-21 is critical. If it relaly is paused, be very concerned because that means all manufacturing capacity in aerospace is shifting to military.

Iranian car parts are just a bridge foir a couple years while the russian parts factories are turned back up. Renault did leave you with tens of billions in new manufacturing facilities, how nice.

PD 14 is a thing?

We don't use badges here.

not only that, Russia has excess planes. They can use their spare parts capacity on the Airbus fleet and when that runs out they can cannibalize the other ones. They don't have to pay for them now that the retards in Europe refuse to take their checks. By the time flights are back at high capacity they'll be rolling a dozen domestic planes off the line per year.

I never flew in my 34 years, so don't care. Traveling is a meme anyway.

my wish is for russia and iran to use these sanctions and develop their local industries with greater urgency.

true, russia makes amazing buildings and architecture but when it comes to machine aesthetics whether it be the cars or the airlines. its just too utilitarian. These russians obviously have a different "ideology" on aesthetics than the west.

>don't use badges
you guys still using dot matrix printers? wtf is up with that card

Did the planet end with the fall of Soviet Union?
>>Ukraine shall no longer exist
If you haven't realized yet, then the only statehood being swayed is Russia. They attacked Ukraine as a scared cornered dog out of desperation and fear. Ukraine is western outpost and no mongol rapebaby lays its dirty hands on it. They will never fall, the army of nations behind its back and the soft power it has in the world will ensure it.

Этoт aнoн дocтaвляeт.
This user delivers, lads!

i'm impressed, russbro. that said, i don't think you're in the department that makes these decisions but are just a typically pessimistic russian doomer (understandable).

for what it's worth, I was studying the russian airplane work a lot last year and am of the opinion that Putin prioritized certification of the new domestic engines on the MC21 before giving the go ahead. That was a major milestone they felt was needed before entering this economic decoupling.

yeah i don't know enough about it to say any of my thoughts but you can see a national history by derivative alterations in a similar industry compared to other powers. i hate brutalism, though. brutalism is probably one of the worst cultural trends in all of human history.

>Traveling is a meme anyway
You are more right than you know. In Russia, domestic travel will increase but the days of everyone jetting around the world at discount prices are over. Westerners have not yet realized, but it's starting to hit.

Russian planes are and have been terrific. Their car industry also had great designs, despite being mediocre in every mechanical respect. their planes have always competed with the West.

based honest Ivan bro. kek

Re-read my last post, since it appears your reading comprehension is failing you.
Russia WILL pull an Israel, and Sampson option the entire globe, if the west doesnt back off. USA will go through a communist revolution in the next few months.
Screen cap away.

I don't care what you mongol rapebabies with resources and greatest minds from occupied nations did 50 years ago. Year is 2022 and the supposedly second greatest military in the world relies on western parts.

how likely is it that you develop your own 3d metal printer and just print the parts yourselves? I know I could do it when I didn't have to watch out for regulation and patents (and of course resources but I imagine Russia has enough of that). I imagine its hard work but it should be possible to build up your own production in 2-5 years doesn't have to be top of the line but you can easily get 2010 quality going.

What "Western Parts" does Estonia produce
