In effect as the Monarchy are effectively powerless there is no difference between a Constitutional Monarchy and Republic for Canada (so the Canadian people will still have problems with shitty governments as you do with Trudeau and the next goverment/ administration who will probably be as abominable or worse than the last).

The only difference between Canada + other Commonwealth in comparison to the UK is if the Monarchy was ended across the board is that the Churches in England would be managed differently in England (for the Anglican church) as the most visible change.
