Is he right? Is it time for slackers to get back to the office?
>the world’s richest man has apparently soured on the idea of his executives working from home. In a memo headlined “Remote work is no longer acceptble” [sic], Musk wrote that “anyone who wishes to do remote work must be in the office for a minimum (and I mean *minimum*) of 40 hours per week or depart Tesla. This is less than we ask of factory workers.”
Oh no all the tech support tards can't work from home for 2 hours a day and get full pay
Brayden Murphy
>it’s for his executive staff Imagine the optics if you’re in charge of something and all your operations guys are coming in everyday while your sitting at home making 10x more money. How the fuck did they even get away with it for so long?
Connor Hughes
Including him I hope

I hope this trend does not come here. Ever since the pandemic, my job has become 10x comfier. During my 12 hours of "work", I log on, use a mouse jiggler for 11 hours, check and reply to emails, and log off. My wage is still the same as it was prior to WFH. Fuck Elon Musk for trying to take this away from me. I will not go back into the cage..
Luis Diaz
he knows most work is bullshit.
Colton Nguyen
He has a point, and he doesn't. Factory work is either simple or rewarding. Staring at a screen all day is soul crushing and impossible to be as "productive" minute per minute like assembling/fabricating shit is.
That said, tons of people are just faking working. I was working from home 2/3 days a week long before covid. My numbers never changed but it was nice to have the flexibility.
Christopher Sanders
thank god i dont work for elong
Ayden Brooks
this. i took a 1/2 hr nap yesterday
Kevin Gonzalez
>executives Made up do nothing job. He should fire them anyway. Factory workers on the other hand should be allowed to do what they can from home purely for the gas savings.
Connor Bailey
They don't have that luxury. Minus the engineers and such and there really is something to be said for being in the same building. Fuck that open plan shit though. If I have an idea to bounce off someone it's easy enough to walk out my door. Can't count how many times either my boss or me were on the phone waving one of us off because we were on the phone or on something. In an open plan you're expected to be always available. Bad for thinking.
Daniel Mitchell
All office work is simple and rewarding. >Abloo bloo bloo I can't get twice the pay sitting on my ass all day, 75% of my time browsing the web
Levi Sullivan
I hate to say it but hes got a point. If he is paying you you gotta do it his way or else start your own Tesla
Samuel Morris
Covid is over. Back in the cagies, wagies
Hudson Jenkins
>you should waste thousands of hours of your life commuting Why?
Jaxon Evans
Yeah that’s gonna be a naw from me dog
Carter Diaz

Good point. Rural areas have been hit hardest by libs doubling gas prices
Kevin Brooks
Lmao. This is unbelievably based
Sebastian Anderson
Imagine pushing for more work across the board.
You've never seen the divergence from efficiency, output and wages graph have you.
We're being paid for 2 hours a day. We need to take back what was lost..
Meanwhile you're like.. everyone go be a slave
You're an asshole.
inb4 cope, I'm a project manager in Australia and work from home exclusively. I'd never want to take that from people.. commuting alone, the gas prices etc... It's like a pay cut for everyone
