>democracy bad because people don’t make good decisions
>therefore authoritarianism good because people in government make good decisions
Pick one you worthless shit stains
>Inb4 people in power are high IQ
Sort of, but they don’t necessarily have your best interests in mind
Democracy bad because people don’t make good decisions

authoritarianism gud 'cause dey be trying to do gud tings fo society

Can I get u-uhm *smacks lips* summa dat o-thoruhtreeism? Fo free?
Authoritarianism is good because it gives names and addresses to your enemies. Democracy makes your neighbors your enemy
Okay this is the best take I’ve heard thus far. What happens after you put those names and addresses to good use though? Are the neighbours next in line to get some?
What has happened every time a king gets deposed? A new one is installed, usually, or they try to form a republic
>Thinks he's calling out hypocrisy
>Admits its' not hypocrisy
Try again.
Not so much hypocrisy as it is a contradiction in terms
>humans bad at decisions
>other humans somehow not bad at decisions
Also just pointing out that IQ doesn’t necessarily lead to good decisions if those decisions principally serve the people in power, which they most often do
Who cares, kikes control everything in both cases.
Good replies, have another (You) and take this, spend it wisely

This. People know Biden really isn't in charge in the US but they have no idea who actually is. Power is so dispersed you can't blame anyone and yet the direction of the country always goes in the same direction. And studies show that public opinion has 0 impact on government policies. Even direct democracy such as the initiative system in California has no actual effect on policy as seen in the Prop 8 and Prop 187 results.
>And studies show that public opinion has 0 impact on government policies.
Not only that, but policies are most likely to be implemented when elites support them and the average voter does not support them, eg., prop 8, like you said
Pic related is great, highly recommend
Bad decisions are constant in any form of government. The issue is accountability. When the government is on the back of one man, you k ow who to blame and who to kill to change things. Democracies end themselves due to the entire population being accountable, and it's extraordinarily hard for an entire population to organically change attitudes even when they are heading towards destruction
>we know who to blame
Another good point. Although, wouldn’t investing all decision-making power into one man be more likely to lead to bad decisions? I understand that he’d have advisors and what not, but it seems like there’s simply too much information involved in decision-making these days for one person to handle. It’s like we’d be setting this person up for failure and ultimately execution.
>Sort of, but they don’t necessarily have your best interests in mind
Hasn't it ever occurred to you that maybe the whole point of my ideology is to put in power people who do have my best interests in mind? For example by making it mandatory for them to be the same ethnicity as me and share my religion and values?
Authoritarianists have ideas outside of authoritarianism yknow
>When the government is on the back of one man, you k ow who to blame and who to kill to change things
That's an eerily convincing argument for dictatorship. But on the other hand it goes both ways, your enemies can assassinate (either character assassination or literal assassination) a good leader.
I think one of his primary jobs would be to manage the people under him and remove people who make bad decisions. Faith can be restored in the leader if the leader replaces the people who made bad decisions, and if he cannot appoint anyone who makes good decisions the he isn't a good leader.
>Dichotomy
Fuck off, leaf
Democracy is bad because people have good reasons to not know how to vote let alone even care and then leads to corruption and people voting themselves money en masse.
That doesn't mean authoritarianism but just that direct democracy with universal suffrage is obviously retarded and leads to the shit we see today.
Return to tradition. Reject the modern world
youtu.be
Having no accountability leads to bad and self serving decisions being made and that's what you get in a democracy.
No, democracy is bad because the will of the voters is never respected.
Democracy bad because under democracy your worth is equal to that of the most violent, degenerate, filthy nigger and your value decreases with every additional nigger spawn that welfare chimps shit out.
If the will of the voters was respected in my country we would never have had non-White immigration, equal rights for blacks, affirmative action, gay rights, and every other bad thing.
>For example by making it mandatory for them to be the same ethnicity as me and share my religion and values?
Wouldn’t all of that be dictated to you under authoritarianism anyway? It’s not as if these things can be so easily chosen
>Faith can be restored in the leader if the leader replaces the people who made bad decisions
Fair point, a leader who doesn’t take out the trash is a bad leader
>democracy bad because people don’t make good decisions
Is this a Joe Biden quote?
