This. I smoked for about 7 years stopped and completely recovered my lung capacity within maybe 3-6 months. Then from 2016-2018 I vaped on and off and something happened and my lungs have not recovered from that. It’s hard to explain but I lost lung capacity that has never come back. It’s not super serious and doesn’t impact my life at all really but I get winded faster and can’t hold my breath for as long as I used to be able to. I would say about 80-85% normal but I haven’t gotten them tested.
