I wouldn't call it honorable but its infinitely more humane than just bombing them to death or marching prisoners into open air fields and intentionally letting them starve to death in the millions after the war is over...I'm not a revisionist I'm a casual historian but all the worst and CLEAREST war crimes really were committed by the allies, as far as volume, scope, and indiscriminacy, even admitting the concentration camp system presupposes a system of discrimination, Nazis didn't bomb out France in the last months/weeks of the 1941 Blitzkrieg like the Allies did in the last months of 1945, there's just no excuse, no whataboutism for terror bombing and prisoner mass murder on that scale
