Growing up, my friends parents were from Sweden, but he was born in the U.S and spoke English, we lived in a upper middle class neighborhood. Nobody ever wanted to go to his house because his parents had 0 junk food and only really healthy stuff, or stuff you had to cook. I remember he said for dinner one night it was Swedish meat balls and/or swordfish, I remember he always wanted to stay at other peoples houses so he could eat food that was “bad” hell I remember we had to eat subway sandwiches behind his garage so his mom wouldn’t find out. This was like 2003-2004

I lived in Sweden for about 40% of my life before we finally moved to finland and I can confirm they don't feed their children. I'm almost 30 years old and I'm still under 60kg
