The reason why the police waited for over an hour to breach the door was two things mainly. The shooter was behind a locked commercial fire door, locked from the inside that opened out into the hallway. from the cops perspective this was really shitty for them because the door could not just be kicked down. on top of that it would be a fatal funnel for law enforcement if they were to try to make entry (which they couldnt without a key or getting a battering ram).

the kids in the classrooms, which arent very big and dont have many hiding places, were basically good as dead because they were trapped in the room with the gunman. they couldnt run and could barely even hide. even if they were alive and talking to 911 that doesnt change the tactical situation where the shooter has the clear advantage.

on top of that the local cops arent your typical hardened cops. they are country cops in a countryside area where not much happens. they were thrust into the REAL SHIT. you can say they were unprepared or complacent or cowards but a mass shooting at an elementary school was definitely not in their day to day life. they probably havent had a shooting or armed standoff in years.

there's a lot of disinfo but you cant trust 90% of what the news is saying right now since they are clearly focusing on riling the public up with this tragedy and smearing law enforcement. the situation wasnt favorable to cops once he made it inside the classroom and locked those doors. more cops wouldve been killed or wounded unnecessarily if they tried to rush the shooter before the tactical team killed him

Schools don't use 2-hour fire doors on interior classrooms.

That itself is a fire code violation because the doors are heavy, preventing rapid egress from the classroom.

Also the firecode requires the doors to open outwards (out of the classroom), so it's not possible for the shooter to barricade it on his side.

The reason they waited over an hour and watched as parents ran into the school to rescue their own children is because they are pussy faggots who are scared to engage anyone but a blue-haired-old-lady who didn't come to a complete stop at a 4 way intersection that had no other traffic.
Ultimately the shooter was killed by a parent who just HAPPENED to be an off duty police officer who only went into the school because his child was in there as well.
Explain to me how the police couldn't get in but parents were running in and out. This school has only one door?

these arent experienced major area city cops. these were countryside cops in the midst countryland. they were only guilty of being complacent when that's what they should be in a quiet town. that's why it took real LEOs to breach in
