the c308s are made from surplus parts kits and Century buys receivers from PTR. You could've gotten a PTR for just a little more that wasn't made from old parts with inconsistent wear and assembled by hungover monkeys.

It's reliant on the receivers. You could always have a gunsmith check it out. I know my AKM's stock precludes it from fixed stocks tho.

My ptr 91 I bought brand new and sights were zeroed for like 5 yards. Was trying to find the zero at 50 and the rounds were hitting the dirt below. Then I learned that you need a proprietary tool to adjust the site. The trigger is like trying to drag a baby grand piano across a shag carpet. Then I learned that the better trigger pack costs hundreds. Kicks harder than my mauser and my mosin combined and replaced the buttpad with one from an HK21 machine gun. Didnt do much. Horrible for mounting optics as you cant get a proper cheek weld with stock design. All in all its pretty garbage and out of all my guns it would be the first one i'd sell along with my Walther PK380 and my Mini 14.
