I think modern society and technology is priming people to live in their emotional brain all day.
Of course there are those true Low IQ NPCs who simply don't have the mental hardware to do more advanced cognition. We can't help them.
But there are some people, midwits, who you can sense that they aren't completely hopeless, but whenever the topic veers into uncomfortable territory, their emotional brain centers kick in and they will start parroting a tag line or something they read on Twitter. It's not an IQ issue. They were taught to reject these things because you're using "old" logic models. The old logic model bottom up, not top down. In the old mode of thinking you started at the bottom with a problem you wanted to solve. Then you figured out all the possible reasons that problem existed. Then you gathered data and started marching towards an end result and either supported or rejected your "hypothesis." They work backwards now. They create the answer, then they use "logical fallicies" to "defend" that answer. It's pointless to "debate" these people because they've locked themselves into an argument that isn't even open to debate. All you can you do is mock and ridicule them by figuring out the extremes that exist in their ideology and force them to accept them and or publically reject any chance of changing their mind. e.g. Most of these people who argue like this want to "abolish the age of consent" and if you asked them on whatever view they have "would you change it if the evidence indicated this view was wrong?" They'll always say "the evidence will never change, and even if it did, I would still be anti-racist or whatever." So at least you just show everyone they're a pedophile who isn't going to change their mind and then everyone just ignores them. The biggest move in politics right now is to just laugh at people that are very liberal and do things you enjoy, have fun, be fun to be around. Liberalism is cringe now. If you are by some chance in a group that participates in Reddit tier discourse, call them Redditors, literally, ironically, and find other people to hang out with. They are underfunded compared to price of any useful labor anywhere.
A good teacher should be reasonably skilled in some field, but barely any skilled person wants to be a teacher, especially in current environment.
One place where this may not apply is primary school, but if you're patient enough to handle a class of kids then you can get better money somewhere else based on that alone.
Therefore, only people who become teachers are people with extreme sense of duty or total idiots.
