How bad will things get in the upcoming years?

Should I buy pic related?
I do not want to buy one so it will only collect dust. Any Forums promises many things that never happens. What are the odds of things getting very ugly in the next 10 years?
Owning one of these is a massive advantige over other Hungarians since they do not know of the cap and ball loophole.

thanks for the help guys, now you can continue helping bait threads reach bump limit

>Should I buy pic related?
it's not very useful but if you can buy black powder and caps, maybe.
Better than nothing I guess.
get a stainless steel one

I want to get a Uberti (but Pietta can do the job) 1858 stainless steel 5.5" barrel length in .44
You can buy it with an ID card here, supposedly you can buy black powder only with an ID card too but a lot of gun store will ask for a license
Do not store it loaded, get spare cylinders if you can but the best is to have two or even 4 of them, that's what the "cowboys" did before the cartridge was invented. Reloading cap and ball is too long.
It is not needed to get the long barrel, it doesn't improve accuracy only the sight radius is longer and you'll be more precise but it is not worth the weight and cumbersomeness
Lee precision makes affordable molds for balls and even bullets, you also need to size them (can be skipped for the balls) and grease them (not needed for the balls) but that can be done easily

kek
organization > personal armaments, needs to happen.
Anyway on your own that's better than nothing in some cases, in others it'll just make you a target. I'd opt for concealable weapons, and fuck what's (((legal))) get creative.

You should buy it because black powder pistols are cool. Hell get a whole brace

wait until your other thread dies

Black Powder and Caps have gotten harder to find than regular ammo for some people. Make sure you can secure large amounts of both first. Then spend time familiarizing yourself, take it to the range, run a couple hundred rounds through it, shoot at very close targets, despite it being an older gun, train tactical pistol work, make it all automatic. Cap ans Ball revolvers are just as useful as they once were, my Brother-in-Law was attacked in his truck one night about a decade ago, at a convenient store, he shot and killed the attacker with a Colt Navy.

>Should I buy pic related?
Yes, to have a quick and easy way to kill yourself when nukes are launching

Things only get bad when you don't have things in the Picture.

Notice the Black Lives Matter Riots buck stopped as soon as they left the Gun Free Zone cities?

Why did the Niggers just all of a sudden stop when they got near areas when they can shoot back?

Niggers are pussies. If they know you got cameras, and guns, they run away in fear. They're not gonna D Day your house. 1000+ niggers dying on your step just to get you. Niggers are pussy! They aim for easy meat! Small men with no muscle! Alone! Divided!

Caps and balls stuff is cheap, legal and fun. I don't see how it would be a bad investment regardless, especially if you take care of it.
The thing with long barrels is you can adapt a butt on it to hunt. All 1858s can have a butt adapted.
With a long barrel you can hunt from a pretty long distance with enough training.
On the other hand a butt on a short barreled revolver would be pretty pointless, your revolver would only serve for self defense.
At this point you might as well get a 36 instead as it will be even lighter.
But yeah getting powder is cancer.
Armorers will basically spit on you if you buy anything that isn't overpriced boomer hunting weapon bullshit. Very few have black powder.
On the other hand caps are very easy to find and cheap.

>the cap and ball loophole.
What loophole? You still need to a be a member of a sport shooting club to get black powder and percussion caps, but if you're already a member with a gun licence, then why stick to a 170 year old gun when you can get a Glock? Only the gun itself is non-reglulated, you can buy as many as you wish, but if you don't know how to make DIY caps and powder, you're fucked, unlike me, but the law requires me to say I don't know how to manufacture these items.
I picked the blued one, it's historically accurate,. Stainless steel only gives you an advantage, if you're a lazy piece of shit, who never cleans black powder residue, which only takes like two minutes after each session. Keep in mind, that such guns only serve as post-apocalyptic Liberator Pistols, which means their only purpose is to shoot someone with a better gun and get instantly replaced by said gun.

It won't be a major collapse.
It's a slow decline, year after year, decade after decade.

>approaching energy cliff
>debt market implosion imminent
>fed funds rate 150 basis points away from a crash bigger than the great depression
>hyperinflation afterwards
>food shortages by the end of the year
reality says otherwise, chief.

Honestly, I think 2023 and 2024 will be even worse. I'm expecting to see another manufactured disease emerging right before the next US election.

>black powder and caps.
Need license to buy but can make them at home

>I do not want to buy one so it will only collect dust.
You can shoot for fun too fren, pretend you're a cowboy

pietta right? I heard Uberti is better quality.
Can these be ordered online or will I have to get them from a store.
I remeber your post from couple months ago and decided I will buy one of these sooner or later.
powder and caps are as easy to make like a sandwich
