Reminder: Club of Rome put up these stones

>and it's the one momument that never offended anyone in the US enough to be brutally vandalized or simply taken down
Why? Most of the people seem to care a great deal about Malthusian creeps like Gates and people in general should have if nothing else an instinctive repulsion towards Club of Rome lunatics, but this despicable troll has merely been graffiti-bombed over the years. So, people take almost no issue with a call to kill 94% of the world? (less when it was put up but as a "monument" built to "last like stonehenge" the message is clear)

For those unaware, the "Georgia Guidestones" are a troll art project by a "pseudonymous artist Robert C. Christian" ie Alexander King of the Club of Rome erected in 1980 and the first and worst inscription reads
>1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature
Cleverly the last part isn't so bad, who doesn't want balance with nature right? Wrong. At the time, a quasi-scientific movement studying Ecology called Cybernetics (the study of ecosystems and systems in general) had become transfixed with the delusion of an idealized "balanced nature". When scientists actually unleashed their new computing powers of data-crunching on these "ecosystems" however, they were astonished to learn that there was no such thing as a balance of nature: populations of birds, insects, plants etc. would all vary wildly over the years and seasons, there were chaotic swings in predator-prey numbers. No coherent pattern emerged that could calculate or predict even the simpler ecosystems they studied and nothing matched their simplified circuit diagrams. Source:

2/ So, why is there such an amazing degree of tolerance for a dangerous and deluded idea based on pseudoscience as espoused by the Malthusians and their ideology? Their ideas have been totally destroyed in science and debooooonked by reality and yet thanks to SV nutjobs like Steve Jobs and his ilk of scammer-marketing gurus nonetheless have become widespread and infected the thinking of practically ALL our elected representatives everywhere.
>Joe Fendley of Elberton Granite assumed that Christian was "a nut" and attempted to discourage him by providing a quote for the commission which was several times higher than any project the company had previously taken, explaining that the guidestones would require additional tools and consultants. To Fendley's surprise, Christian accepted the quote.
>When arranging payment, Christian said that he represented a group which had been planning the guidestones for 20 years and which wanted to remain anonymous.
Not very anonymous if you ask me.

Moreover, for a monument built in 1980, the space age, why are Malthusians so radically paranoid about the idea of humanity going to and inhabiting space and becoming interplanetary? Who elected them supreme rulers of Earth?

its been vandalized before

>it's the one momument that never offended anyone in the US enough to be brutally vandalized or simply taken down
Wrong. The thing is constantly vandalized, while being video monitored 24/7.

OP i agree that it’s bizarre americans tolerate it, but i have never, and i really do mean this, never encountered a person irl who has even heard of the georgia guidestones, and every single person i told to look them up didnt do so sad reality people dont know dont care

We desperately need population control. It'll never happen, but we need it.

It's dark, but it is what it is.

Some guy with money to burn put up these stupid stones to troll you, and it worked.

If you have more money you can use, this is the best way how to mess with people - put pu some "mysterious monolith" and watch their heads spin.

>the first and worst inscription reads
>1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature
if population was at those levels people would have a much higher quality of life

It's been vandalized and it was actually fully removed 2 years ago. I wanted to check it out but it's gone.

VERY INTERESTING.

Oh that's good, but wikipedia only mentions two graffiti instances?
I'm not even advocating to take it down, even if it's weird there's very little widespread knowledge or opposition to it, it's just very curious that the ideas it represent have become so commonplace in halls of power and corporations that they're basically accepted as factual realities when they're not even close. Rewatching that docu footage also seems all too familiar with so much of what's being spouted now, and unlike back then, today's "environmental movement" is a lot less critical of those in power, so there's just VERY little much needed criticism of this whole ideology all around. See for example how easily people went along and hopped on the cybernetic holism bandwagon even if it's been scientifically discredited for decades.
Firstly, that's wrong. Secondly, in order "to get to those levels" would be genocide and in itself destroy the world and much of civilization. Earth can sustain 10B and more by the time we get there (because humans adapt and invent new solutions, technologies such as greenhouses, hydroponics, renewables) and yet more by the time we will be able to colonize space. You simply lack any forward thinking vision whereby such a future could be created, because you're brainwashed by systems theorists who cannot think beyond the model of the static equilibrium ecosystem, even if it runs entirely counter to the reality of a very dynamic world and universe.

It was put up by a white supremacist in 1980 during the height of the cold war nuke scare. He wanted whites to survive and thrive after an apocalyptic event.

>Earth can sustain 10B and more
yes but that world also sounds horrible

Why? There's nothing special about the number. If you look at actual population growth (and the stagnation/stabilization/contraction that follows development) that's where it's projected to reverse into a slightly smaller number all by itself? If the world survives the coming century, that may be roughly how many humans there will be a century from now. Based on past trends and ignoring genocidal madmen and constant doom-mongering and profiteering so we don't lose the forest for the trees, why would a century from now necessarily be a horrible world?

I think it's also a conservative estimate to say we'll be well underway with colonizing, exploiting space and maybe even drawing up plans for some very long term terraforming of Mars about 100 years from now?

>how easily people went along and hopped on the cybernetic holism bandwagon even if it's been scientifically discredited for decades.

Uh.. what? We live in a finite space with finite resources. I come to these conclusions by means of common sense. I've literally never heard ANYONE suggest we limit birth rates. It's wildly unpopular with the entire political spectrum. In fact, every goddamn country is in a race to prevent decline to maintain "economic strength". The only people who believe in infinite growth in a finite space are insane people and economists. You think the world is better off for having 5 billion browns added in the next few decades?

AMORC placed those idk what the fuck club of rome is and why you think they placed it.

>why would a century from now necessarily be a horrible world?
Because it's already horrible beyond comprehension and the reason for that is too many fucking idiots. Multiply that number by 2 and the world is now twice as shit with twice as many fucking idiots.

note that the stones don't specify any type of eugenics

it's just the jews declaring they are going to kill billions of mutts once whitey is dead and keep around a bunch of talented tenth types to be their slaves

Based, 1 child policy for all non-whites need to be mandatory.

I’m 60 miles from there and when me and a bunch of random people were arguing over the vaccine in one of our games and how I should take it…….I’m like…”go 60 miles north of here and they’ll literally tell you… 500 million population goal at the Georgia Guidestones. An NWO monument. So there is no way I’m taking that poison.”

They had never heard of it…but they did get nervous when I said that.

Yes

500 million is still too many desu

The harsh truth is I'm starting to think the Georgia guide stones are correct. There's simply too many stupid hylics on the Earth who are nothing but parasitic eaters. There's literally no way to solve issues for these people as not only do they make things worse for society but actively fuck up their own lives.
