As far as I know, the Island does not fall under any countries jurisdiction and is also not under direct rule or authority of any country or entity.
IF one was to conquer an island and declare a new nation, this would be a good candidate.
However, the international community would hardly accept such a nation.
So, when do we set sail and, in good old European fashion, bring culture and democracy to this island?
What would our laws be?
