I just see it as simply as this. the number one issue with the majority today is whether or not they're going to be able to pay their bills this year. so whoever helps them the most with that, or offers them the most assistance with that at least, will be the ones to win the next election. the tories are already in power and already doing that so why would the nation vote for another party? nobody gives a fuck about dinghy people when they can't even pay their energy bills. immigration is a non issue now. has been since brexit for the most part. the tories will stay in purely because they're already offering aid / assistance to households suffering due to the cost of living crisis. the only change will be a change in leadership. kemi is too much of an unknown and sunak is constantly in the public eye and is spearheading the rishibucks rollout. so. its obvious to me whats going on behind the scenes. they want him as leader eventually. this is just the run up

There are at least a million people in the UK that actually made a saving over the lass couple of years. That is a massive amount of money being help by people. The loud voices might be about some poor people but that is not reflecting reality. The chan... gave money to all pensioners and as such he has handed over millions to people who can well afford the price increases. That is inflationary. So it might look like a handout to the poor but the inflationary aspect will take more back and the poor will still be poor. As what the chan.. has done is purely not conservative and has upset the loyal they will not be voting tory in two years time and those people who did appreciate the bung wont vote tory anyway. He should have had some balls. Told people to suffer and get back to an economy of 2% inflation. But nutsak has not balls.
