As unpleasant as it may sound, there's just no way around it. Individuals can not be permitted to enforce their perceived needs against the real needs of the community. The needs of the community always come first; everything else is secondary. We simply do not have enough resources.
All individuals will carry a mandate upon birth to contribute to society in some form. You shouldn't look at this as being made a slave, but rather giving purpose to your life. Countless individuals are born and die without any tangible purpose; the end of this trend will become the driving point of the next phase of humanity.
The "great reset" you fear so badly is in fact hummanity's only hope of survival, and you have no business digging your heels in to deny it. The truth isn't always pleasant.
