Why isn't America a TRIUMPHALIST, bombastic, big-spirited country anymore? One of the main things I get from 80's/early-90's media is a general sense of life, vitality, and futurism. A good example is Cher's music video for 'If I Could Turn Back Time,' from 1989:

This is an incredible work of sex and militarism and celebration, all colliding together in a way that seems natural rather than forced. It's a window into a very different country. There is a sense of drama and dynamism which doesn't seem to exist these days to nearly the same extent.

Or the techno-futurism from that era, which is often associated with physical uplift, elevation gain, flight, etc.:

Where did all of this go? 'Le wrong generation' shit aside, this seems like a genuinely different ethos and worldview than what we have now.

Because it's just nigger mutts twerking in front of a fire now

Because theres no longer a need for it. After finally sucking all they can out of merica the fuckers have moved on to the next phase. Building up chink land so they can move in and start the cycle all over again

I think back then the Anglo-Celtic racial spirit and Anglo stiff upper lip attitude were still common since the founding population and its traditional culture still were dominant in society and its institutions. Affirmative actions, light poz sure started taking some minor grounds back then, but it was no universally accepted and the people were generally decent

You let woke capitalists export your jobs and import millions of 3rd world replacements without a fight, because it was “good for economic growth”

You get what you deserve, and you deserve what you tolerate.

Cherilyn Sarkisian is half-Armenian. Her dad's family came from the Lake Sevan area of the Armenian SSR.

I know she is a mongrel churka. I talk of the general attitude of real Americans and a sense of national feeling and belonging you enjoyed back then

We started making discoveries that if fully integrated into society would destroy the Jewish grip on power (The Bell Curve was from the early 90s), and the Cold War ended. Like a more general case of canceling the Saturn V, once the Soviets stopped trying to beat us, the impetus was lost. Then a few Jews freaked the fuck out about Desert Storm and realized without the Soviets around we were literally invincible.
>enter China
>enter NAFTA
>enter all the other ways they try to grind us down
But then some autistic saffer made a bunch of money from eBay so now we're going to colonize the solar system anyway.

It was propaganda intended for soviet people to give up their state for the ideals, that communism only tried to emulate. It succeeded, now it became irrelevant.

The jews were actively subverting USA right after the WWII. Rosenbergs, Frankfurt school, USSR-sympathizers and all that.
Not at all. Most of the upbit cultural products from USA of that period were authentic in its spirit

Great topic of the thread. Sad that no discussion happens

Check out Pat J Buchanan. Catholicism and christian rumble aside, he gives a great analysis on the matter
This

«The death of the West» and «The suicide of the Superpower» are absolute must reads for all ethnocentric and culturally Western folks

It's because whites are obsolete now.
A chinese can do the thinking job of a white for less, way less.
A mexican can do the manual labour of a white for way way less.
An indian can do the management job of a way for WAAAAAAAY less.

Accept it, you guys just cost too much, infact we have to exterminate you.

Hunt you down from your houses with harpoon guns and behead and skin your entire families while we buckbreak you.

America invested in manufacturing in China. Simultaneously China invested it's profits in China. America is a nation of 330 million, China is a nation of 1500 million. There economy is, or soon will be, bigger. Their technology is at parity with the U.S. in many fields. They produce more STEM graduates every year, and they are excelling in their space tech. America does have land mass and natural resources, but so does China, Russia and other nations. Perhaps no one country has all the resources they need which is why the 'current' Chinese approach of increasing economic exposure globally is superior to the US ideology of military dominance. Though they (China) are very capable in that regard as well thanks to constant improvements in miltech and manufacturing. Unless the U.S. can somehow magically scale it's population to 800 million or so, I don't see how it can retain it's global hegemony over competing nations like China. That doesn't mean China will threaten the US militarily. But I think there's little doubt that China will be 'the' superpower within 20 years.

No, the amount of population means little. Quality of the population means almost everything. Even If USA goes All-White and decreases somewhat to 170 mil and then goes full eugenics sterilising/deporting degenerates and decreases, lets say to 40-70 mil of European Whites, it would actually get a boost, since all of her resources and power would be left to those best fit to use them and homogenous cultural climate will create a condition for high social cohesion and collective subconsious desire to always make your place a little better.

Social chilling effect. While this happens:
You've got all the red-blooded Americans prepping and buying up rifles and ammo. Things gonna get really ugly soon, but the people that make America great are still in America -- as if there's anywhere better to go.

And then you'll get BTFO by the infinite Mongol hordes.

Another thing I notice is that CRITICISM of the US was different in the past. There were lots of songs and books and films critical of the US during that era. But the criticism was usually "Americans are greedy, Americans are self-absorbed, Americans care too much about money and material things, parts of America are still really poor" etc. Not "Americans are violent psychotic mutts." That came later.

This is what negative portrayals of the US used to look like in pop music:

Those kinds of songs basically parody the brash, confident spirit of the country. Now, those parodies don't even make sense, because there IS no brash, confident spirit to mock. Even something as simple as the 'Uncle Sam' costume being worn by the singer in the first video. Americans don't wear those costumes anymore.
