It's all circus. They would be protected by EU members, thus NATO as well, in case they would get into a war. I guess NATO asked Turkey to step in, because bringing foreign NATO soldiers on any countries soil is unpopular, especially to the locals, people were very hostile to the idea, and jews wanted to back off of this, while saving face. The application will be probably memoryholed, and forgotten, or they will fraud them in quietly, during the next crisis, because they could never gain enough popular support, to win a clean vote about joining, but with current economic pressue, and angry population, they don't want to risk a frauded vote about something this trivial (from jew point of view), and they rather not rile up the population with joining without even a vote, while everyone is outspoken about being against this.

Plenty of things could change that. Mass protest at docks, "niggers go away" signs, don't let any supplies go on the ships, beat up any sailors on shore leave. You could also vandalise the ships, with firebombs and hommmade explosives, make the damage costly enough, that they don't want more of it, just short of making the ship immobile, so it could not be towed away. You could snipe at the crew, shooting any that is not hiding inside the ship. You could just part a truck full of explosives next to a ship, remote blow it up, they would probably not linger around for long after an event like that.
But if you meant, "nothing will change it legally", occupying forces tend not to allow legal ways to depose them.
