you know most of the army is conscript and they'll do anything to avoid service, they have little confidence in the leadership or the cause,
they're loterally pressing people into service on the street under threat of imprisonment,
the reason NATO trainers are over there is the army was in such a state, people weren't responding to call ups, currently they can only fill 5% of their recruitment target for officer training,
they have to put political troops behind the regular forces to block them from withdrawing, is that what winning looks like? setting up roadblocks behind the lines to intercept soldiers withdrawing and threaten them with summary execution?
