Why didn’t Americans just kill the slaves after slavery? I know we had a big scary civil war over it, and the North raped the South, but shouldn’t we have just ended it then and there? Why are we still pretending today? Africans were used strictly as free agricultural labor, once slavery was ended they should have been massacred, no need to keep them around after they are considered people.. instead of beast of burden. The moral thing would have been to recognized slavery was wrong and to end every reminder of it forever.
