I'm asexual myself. Asexuality isn't a "gender," it's a sexuality. I am NOT aromantic though, so I still have romantic attraction to women. I just have no desire to have sex with them. I'm 30 years old still looking for a fellow asexual woman. I've had a few relationships but none of them ended up working out. I wouldn't wish the curse of asexuality on anyone. I'd give anything to be like everyone else.

Uh, no. That's not what demisexuality is. Being demisexual means that you don't look at a hot celebrity or a person on the street and want to have sex with them. You only become sexually attracted to someone when you've spent time with the person and gotten to know them very deeply (none of this sex on the third date kind of crap). I have a friend who's demisexual. He dated his girlfriend for 2 years before they had sex.
