Mr. Derek Smart, PC Gaming legend who fathered the entire indy game universe, has an interesting take on gun control. It is very simple but it pretty much solves the issue without taking either side.
I am impressed, Mr. Smart once again show why he is one of the greatest of this time, not only a legend in game development but also very wise.

Line of Defense had some flaws but is still a fun game. Battlecruiser 3000AD was wrongly derided because the majority of gamers were too low-IQ to get it. It was a game that required deep thought and planning, not instant gratification of shooting lasers at people.

I agree in principle with regards to the Battlecruiser series, it required actually reading the instruction manuals and using all the keys on a keyboard to learn how to play but unfortunately the demographic turned into TLDR Zoomers and he decided to chase that money with low efforts FPS games to his detriment instead of sticking with his strengths. He's probably pissed that he could have pioneered the complexity and scope found in Star Citizen with his Universal Combat series but his own piss poor attitude towards his customers sank any chances of success.
