MOSCOW, May 25 — RIA Novosti. Moscow authorities will stop collecting unpaid fines for violating coronavirus restrictions. This is reported in the blog of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The city government also compensates residents, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities for the amounts of punishment already paid. "Fines imposed by the executive authorities of Moscow and their subordinate institutions for violating all covid restrictions, with the exception of non-compliance with the isolation regime at home during the COVID—19 disease, are subject to compensation," the report says.
The "Covid Amnesty" comes into force on June 1. The authorities estimated the volume of the program at 13.6 billion rubles. To get the money, you need to contact the public services center "My documents" no later than December 31 of this year. A decree on the imposition of an administrative fine and a document confirming the payment will be required. Application forms will be posted on the portal mos.ru .
