2nd Amendment was for muskets

Argument against all the glowies that profess the 2nd amendment doesn't apply to modern weapons.

Are those mexican police

Bring back muskets, pussies

First amendment was for parchment

no it was for competing with a tyrannical govt. if they have x we should have x. so on and inb4 u cite weapons of mass destruction, an organized legal militia should have access to it yes. fuck off

and cannons, and armed ships, and grenades, and explosives, and anything else you’d find in an army then. i.e.: it means you can have whatever is necessary to keep your government in check. now go shit on your balls.

Since 2009
>number of time amerimutts used their guns to commit school shootings
288
>number of time amerimutts used their guns to overthrow their corrupt government
Zero (0)
Really makes you think.

>argue against glowies that...
No.

2nd amendment needs to be carried out to the fullest extent in order to amend the bill of rights for internet privacy and freedom in the digital age and beyond.

- No handguns (anything shorter than 3 feet)
- No concealed carry
- No auto and semiauto guns, except hunting smoothbore guns which can be semiauto
- Any aftermarket changes which make a gun auto or semiauto is illegal for both owner, buyer, seller, trafficker, producer and advertizer
- magazines over 5 rounds are illegal
- silencers, night vision, laser pointers are forbidden. Optic sights are capped to 4x
- carrying of legal rifles in cities, towns and cars is allowed only when consealed in an opaque case and with magazine detached, except in designated firing ranges and hunting areas
- the legal guns should be stored in a metal safe with magazine detached when they are kept in the house
- owning a rifled gun is illegal until you own a smothbored gun for 5 years in countryside and 10 in cities
- there's a limit on how many guns one person can have - up to 5 rifled and up to 5 smooth
- before getting weapon ownership permit one has to pass a medicine and mental check by a certified doctor, then pass background check by the police, then do a certified course on safety and laws, then demonstrate to a police officer that there's a safe storage for the gun in the house. For-profit public weapon storage depositories for the homeless and for those who want to own but afraid to keep the gun in their house
- on any of the steps above permit can be refused with or without reasons, though one can dispute it in a court at his own expense
- every gun one has is registered in the state database and written down in the personal weapon registration card of the owner
- before a rifled gun is sold police makes a shot and keeps the bullet to make it easier to id the gun by the unique rifling marks on the bullet
- illegal weapons confiscation with buyback
- mandated insurance

Why did the cops just let him go into the school? I thought armed good guys were supposed to stop school shooters?

Why did you think the cops were good guys

First our government should return to black powder and muskets before I'd even consider it. Bring back dueling too.

In the UK you can legally own a working tiger tank and only require a powder certification to make your own ammo.
In America you cannot do this.
Still winning son?

it applied to all firearms, including cannons.

At the time muskets were all you needed to stand up to the government. They didn't have drones, tanks, whatever the fuck else.

The Second Amendment was and always will be for keeping the government on notice from its own citizens. To prevent tyranny and protect the other amendments. Full stop.

Who would have thought the government itself doesn’t like that idea and would rather have the monopoly on violence and power?

Almost like the founding fathers had been through similar and seen what happens.

That town already spends 40% of it's budget on the police. They let those school kids get murdered to get more money,

>"Our potential enemies have changed"
Fucking says who?

>2nd amendment meant to enable citizens to equip themselves to fight the gov't on an equal footing if necessary
>The gov't now has (((assault weapons))) that they use freely against citizens, largely without consequence.
>Therefore, citizens shall not be infringed from also owning the same rifles.

>Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended.

>Four ruffians break into my house.

>"What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle.

>Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot.

>Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog.

>I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot.

>"Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms.

>Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion.

>He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up.

>Just as the founding fathers intended.
