Our police are a joke. It’s a job for dumb people. Did you know that most police academies in the US have a maximum acceptable score for the aptitude test? Meaning, if you’re too smart and score really high, they don’t want you.

Smarter people are prone to questioning authority, getting bored with the job, having doubts about a procedure that seems pointless and unnecessary, and defying orders based on their own personal judgement. Not a good fit for professional dog snipers and nigger wranglers.

Those are correctional officers, so that’s pretty much the lowest tier of shit jobs that a cop can be put in. The only thing that’s worse is probably something like a meter maid, or a school/campus cop who gets rotated through different jobs when the school is on break.

Also, your pay is attached to your job. Though cops are a paramilitary group, they don’t have a pay system like the military where everyone of a specific rank gets paid exactly the same (excluding combat and hazard pay).

My own father-in-law really pissed off his superior and got bumped to a being a courthouse guard for $17/hr, then he got bounced to CO at the county jail, then got assigned to being a school cop because he was being “too nice” to the inmates, and on the down time during school breaks he did paperwork that was backlogged. He finally quit after 4 years of law enforcement and it’s bullshit.

He never made the big bucks like the guys who go all tacticool and crack some nigger skulls because he was just too much of a nice guy. And those guys were such self-righteous asshole. They sincerely believe that they are turbo Chads doing God’s work.
