1. Putin won't come around regarding the holocaust, because for Russia the holocaust doesn't solely relate to Jews, it also relates to Russians/Slavics who were intentionally killed by the Nazis because Hitler viewed "Slavs" as "Slaves who are incapable of governing themselves, and need the German man to show them the way". Frankly speaking, I think Putin himself doesn't care about the Jews at all, but he needs to care about the ~30million Soviet causalities that were caused by the war with Germany.
2. Russian police acts no different from any other country's police.
