They have the entire place surrounded. It’s an issue of logistics.
Would you rather not have a gun in a place surrounded by armed law enforcement who are under orders to shoot anyone who pulls a weapon without questions or would you rather have a gun on you and make things more difficult for them when trying to keep the event safe by causing confusion about who is a threat and who isn’t?
