I don't understand why you would need an ID to vote. Aren't you supposed to have a postal adress or b registered in a county/commune or whatever ?

In my country, citizen are registered from birth in the commune they live in. Don't you do that in america for newborns for new citizens ?
What I don't understand is why you would have to show your ID if you have a voting ballot made for you. Don't you recieve your voting material by post or a town hall?

Voter ID laws are a way to hassle people out of voting because not everyone will have one even if they have one. It's kind of like how customer service is these days where they want you to do everything with an automated system and then if you still need to talk to a person it takes forever and then they hang up on you and you have to go through it all again or you give up. Republicans do better the less people that vote. It's just a fact.

Voting depends on the stats, blue states have some of the most lax voting laws where you can pretty much show up to vote and as long as you name somebody that's a registered voter they will accept your vote, meaning you can actually show up and vote for other people. And there's not a single law in the US that makes that illegal

They don't do that, as I said they lack a single unified ID system so they're left with a cobbler together mess of a system because individualism or some shit

Passports are expensive. Out of reach for a lot of people. DL/identity cards aren't though, but we don't really have a national one, so it'd be up to the states.

I vote regularly on referendums, laws and elections as swiss citizens do.

we do kind of have a unified id rolling out now. real id. it's not mandatory yet but basically any state issued id or passport can have the real id credentials attached to it. it's a separate federal thing that is issued separately but rides on the preexisting state is structure.

I foresee it basically replacing everything eventually.

this won't change voter id though because you don't need an id to vote, and that's up to each state subs it's perfectly legal for state to openly let non citizen residents vote

America is only considered a first world country because that term originally meant countries aligned with the US. It was grandfathered in. If that term were created today with the current definition then it would not be one.

Niggers voting isn't a problem for white people, I live in a white state with relatively little niggers or spics, but that's changing. But back to the point, niggers voting only matters in major cities where people need the low information braindead nigger to vote in order to get elected. A side effect of this is that the people voting for you are on welfare and don't have driver's licenses. So in order for the democrat political machine to function they need niggers to vote so that means they hijack states with large urban nigger populations and prevent them from passing any sort of election ID laws.

Well in my country, communes/counties take care of sending voting documents to households that are considered to be made up of residents who are also swiss Citizen. The title of swiss citizen is usually obtained from the parents when they register their newborn in the commune/county. If you're not a resident but a Citizen, you can recieve your assigned voting documents to the coubty/commune's adminstration office. If you're a resident and Citizen, you get it from the postal service. If you're a resident but not a citizen, then you don't recieve voting documents. What I mean is that I think it's normal to recieve voting documents at home. Don't they have that in America? Voting documents where you state wich Israel worshipper they want ?

You don't need one in Switzerland to vote. If you're a citizen then voting documents will be made for you then sent to your adress. If you don't have an adress then you can just pick up your voting documents at an administration office

Keep in mind that amerimutts take pride in having no official ID card, except they do, except it's not really an ID card and so on
