Americans get along with their Latinx immigrants so well. Usually when I see an American post about Hispanic immigrants, 8/10 times it will be positive. They seem happy to live there and you seem happy to have them. You even defend them if someone if being racist towards them.

It's not bait. Canada is supposed to be a diverse welcoming country and people here still hate each other. Meanwhile every online interaction I've had with an American suggests you and the Hispanics get along great, yet you're supposed to be the racist ones.

Be nice to them. I ran into these two Indian immigrants today checking out some trails, and I greeted them from the bottom of my heart, in a genuine manner, and they reciprocated. It's baby steps like that.

There are huge power gaps between the Hispanics that have been in the country since Mexican territory got annexed, the Mexicans that crossed over illegally in decades past, and the Central Americans that are making up the bulk of who is crossing over now.
