More people die from lightning strikes than school shootings

According to the NWS Storm Data, over the last 30 years (1989-2018) the U.S. has averaged 43 reported lightning fatalities per year.

Why won't the government do anything?

If lightning hits that close to you, it feels like getting hit by a hand grenade that electrocutes you.

the people should not be afraid of their T-storms, their T-storms should be afraid of them.

And the government is going to just do NOTHING about this?
