Because the Las Vegas shooting was a distraction to evacuate some Saudi Prince with connections to the Clintons out of there unnoticed because there where multiple assassins trying go get him from multiple locations.

Bitter boomer with a gambling problem whose skills were slipping got pissed that the casinos were stiffing him on promised comps and decided to leave them with a big fucking mess to deal with before he snuffed himself out.

You call my theory stupid, yet your just outright ignores the fact that there had to be a second shooter and continuous fire from either a machine gun or LMG.
Plus the sheer number of weapons alone in a room like that is peculiar. Unless Padock was an arms dealer (which he wasn't) there would be no logical explanation as to why that many weapons where in his room.
Also, the Saudi's where in Vegas that night. I specifically recall one of the princes being escorted by armed body guards out of the Tropicana hotel, to the Harry Reid Airport. Both of which are directly next to the parking lot where the concert was.
