I agree with you. It is a combination of factors that start with, but cannot be reducible to, the industrial revolution. It is not a one-off event that kicks in at the 1800 mark, but rather a continuous process of technological development, slowly reducing birthrates until birth control is invented, when it starts declining more precipitously.
And while birth control methods certainly enable this situation to a far greater extent than otherwise, I believe the economic factor is still the preponderant explanation for low birth rates.
The solution is to create a cultural movement around natalism, though the problem is likely going to resolve itself on its own eventually, due to the heritability of the desire to have children. Check this paper: sciencedirect.com

Same reason everyone else in the developed world did. There s no incentive beyond novelty to have kids and the cost is rather excessive. I get you're a shill but the lowest birthrates on earth are in east asia. In the US whites have rather high birthrates comparatively. They're even above replacement levels in many rural red states.
