srsly?
>total restoration of a car from 50 years ago

if restored, how much can you get for it?

What a fucking dork that old man is.

>fully restored 35k
yeah, breaking even with a little luck.

faggot ought to pay me for removing thrash from his yard

>thinking of selling
>don't have to
>may get the time to restore
>bought in 1984
>$10,000

About 150k

$20-30k. That's a shit price.

restoring this probably costs you at least 100k
if you happen to find all the parts in your lifetime

Lol no. Found the retard nigger boomer.

Depends on the car. That one might be 50k fully restored. My teacher had a fully restored boss mustang that was worth 250k+ 20 years ago. I'm sure it is worth a lot more now.

Found the dumb niggwr who doesn't know the number of those cars produced . It's ok I see your flag and realize europoors can't own nice things

Very desirable car. It's a classic mustang, not a faggy hatchback or something, fren.

>needs a transmission rebuild
>doesn't run
>needs to be winched out of where the fuck it is
>needs new tires
>is rusting
Yeah nah. Maybe $1000 for it in that condition. If he wanted it to retain value he shouldn't have let it fall into that condition.

Why would I want to watch that normie faggot shit?

Found the poor fag.

>fetishizing boomers
why are you like this?

I keep LL100 on hand cause it doesn't go bad like the nigger gas you use and I love the sound of a throaty high compression engine. Stay mad chocolate nigger.

Nigger he just told you the price. 35k for one that runs and isn't a rusted piece of shit

Boomers think their trash are treasures. It's a cope for having a bunch of shit in their backyard "babe it's a collector item, gonna be worth thousands one day". Essentially the precursor of NFTs

Attached: 1651631243124.jpg (500x672, 166.64K)

isn't it the chassis what really counts here?
but yeah if you actually want to restore it with an old-timer plaque in mind you are going to have a bad time

because you look for pearls in a heap of shite daily, on pol.
its just more of the same.

thats a nice car. but not for that price.

not that one.
iirc ford mustang were accessible muscle cars.
engine very easy to modify.
picrel is what i found.
1973. mach 1 mustang. 35k seems to be the price

Attached: 35k.jpg (1086x882, 244.51K)

Retard nigger boomers, no one except other faggots like you guys will buy your bags. Seethe and cope.

I can buy a running, driving one of those with paint for 7500. This guy thinks he has a gem when he has a turd.

Attached: 1576947020800.jpg (225x225, 6.75K)

>150k
This is probably accurate for a perfectly intact ‘73 mach one, but it’s going to take at least half that to get it to that point. Fuck this faggot boomer for letting it get that bad.

Assuming it's done correctly, with OEM parts, and ends up in perfect condition. Not a cheap endeavor, would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

It doesnt even have the right engine in it, it's already borderline worthless in that regard.

hive mind

Story of his life right there
>thinking of improving
>don't have to
>may get the 'time' to improve
>born in 1945

>just the body, part of which are rusted, part of which is missing
it's literally garbage
he wants you to pay him $10k to remove garbage from his lawn.

If you're going to go after it for the chassis you might as well buy a kit car. He does have the 429 in it, but after sitting forever the first thing you'd want to do is yank the engine and set about rebuilding it. Wouldn't be surprised if one or several of the cylinders weren't running. Which again, all this excess labor detracts from the price. I get that it's a Mach 1, and it's a very desirable year of Mach 1 (it's a first gen with the first available 429), but it's ballooned into such a project car that it's not worth anything.

150K if it were in good state ORIGINAL. As in preserved. This will always be some frankenstein and no one should pay more than 1k it that state or 10/20k for a home restored one.

when it comes to cars its allowed

$17k and 90% of the work is already done on this running one.

Boomer has had it for 30 years and only let it rust. Typical shit for boomer trash.

classics.autotrader.com/classic-cars/1973/ford/mustang/101720209

Yeah, sounds about right. Mid 70s are not as desirable as say 67-69. It also depends on the restoration quality, whether shit is numbers matching or not, whether or not they used a modern crate engine or just rebuilt what was in it. Shit can get expensive.

I'd offer the 10k only to change my mind at the last second so his boomer heart explodes. I will tow the wreck for free when he dies

everybody knows at least one of these boomer
who have shit sitting on the shelve for the last 30 years they never did anything with
but tomorrow, tomorrow they are going to

Has non original 50 year old rebuilt engine that is completely rusted out and needs to be replaced.
>Only has 5,000 miles on the engine
boomer logic.

Attached: 1629652643459.jpg (650x431, 127.32K)

>no one will buy your bags
Nigger, I ain't selling and you couldn't afford it if I was. You can't even afford a used honda anymore thanks to president shit for brains. Get fucked and stay homeless.

>He does have the 429 in it
a rebuilt one, from a different year. as far as collectability goes this car is toast

I have often thought about contacting these people just to berate them about how delusional they are.

Attached: 1647812759480.jpg (396x482, 135.49K)

1973 model is not that desirble and most likely it doesn't have a floor anymore after staying on open surface for this much

the price of this car is 5k.

If you were selling this car he would unironically offer you $800 and be mad when you tell him to fuck off.
>t person who just sold an old Mercedes and had to tell 100 boomers to fuck off and die in the first 3 hours it was listed for sale

>one day all this will be yours

there needs to be a remake of this meme, only it's a guy with a rusted out mustang

Attached: image_2022-05-23_222054056.png (897x597, 991.59K)

Never get that much, muscle cars after 73' are not collectible due to changes in government regulations killing the power output.

>Shit can get expensive.
yes it can.
worked for a guy who was restoring an old pos fiat.

he sunk 50k in it and still wasnt done.

Hows the war going Ukanon?

Attached: peanut butter onions.jpg (1038x576, 91.76K)

yeah.
victims of leaded gasoline, im telling ya

Plus the body style changes in late 70s-80s were dog shit.

>you might as well buy a kit car.
true. was probably thinking too much from a european viewpoint.
it would probably be cheaper flying to america, buying the car there and then sending it back to europe than trying to find a seller here

You can afford 10k?
Go back to plebbit incel

Realistically you should contact them and offer an appropriate amount so that they get the hint. However, based on experience, he will eventually take this thing off the market when it doesn't sell, it will sit for a few more years until his wife's medical bills just keep piling up, and then he will actually sell it at a much lower price.

Good catch. I didn't notice that.

according to google this car cost $3,088 when it originally rolled off the line in 1973. Wild how much inflation has devalued the dollar.
