Is this food shortage shit legit because I'm pretty fuckin skeptical considering people were posting about this shit when covid first started, omg some spic rancher said food shortage OMG, and everything's still fine no one starved and I have like 150 pounds of Food I'm trying to incorporate into my normal diet... never bought any food from the ukraine or Russia as far as I know... seems like a big hype train to get American consumers to panic buy loads of food and empty the grocery store shelves again.... and stimulate the economy or some shit monkeypox is fearporn too imo... anyways yeah fuck niggers I guess....

The top of this was blown off with the baby formula shortage. There are only two companies that produce it, so over the last decade production has been consolidated to a handful of factories. When an entire factory is shut down, it creates a serious dip in supply.
We know the shutdown is purely fake. The FDA was investigating a few deaths from a bacterial infection. They shut down a factory, sent samples they found to tue CDC, and the CDC confirmed that the bacteria wasn’t a match. The FDA kept the factory shut down anyway. Why? It didn’t pose a danger to anyone.

It's not so much that there are food shortages but that the places that process, package, ship the stuff are having a bunch of weird problems.
Maybe they have a fleet of trucks and there is a supply chain issue on oil and fuel filters specific to that truck. Shit like that has snowballed everywhere.
I have a crane at work I need operational but the hydraulic proportional valves are all from Norway and Germany so the crane has been down for 5 months.
We have an emergency PA system of fire proof phones and they were made in Italy.
A couple of plc boards are out and there is a 12 month lead time for the boards to be made and sent from Italy.
This is just an example of the failure of globalism.
If my company had used all American equipment we would be fully operational.
