Imagine paying for that amount of money and college will teach you diversity, feminism and other bullshits.

Why is college so expensive? Who is actually responsible for raising tuition? What is that increased tuition going towards?

Free*
*Not actually free

Well, we're too busy (and broke) defending Ukraine to afford that.
See: NATO 2% GDP
How many trillion dud Joe Biden send??

plus gummint is propagandizing all young people to go to college and providing the crippling loans to get them to go, then they rack up 100k debt with a gender studies degree or class warfare degree and wonder why they only make 10$/hr working for a nonprofit class warfare charity as an intern

People who think their respective governments are giving out "free" lunch so-to-speak are utter retards and show they don't deserve to be part of the aspirational class. The money that pays for your higher education comes out of your tax money or more specifically your parents and society as a whole. Its not free its *subsidized*. After you're done with your uni education thats when you'll start paying the government back.

>Free

Wow that's amazing! So the professors all teach for free? And the buildings are free... the technology used in the classrooms... all free? How is this possible?

It gets worse when you consider other hidden fees and taxes. How much is VAT in Belgium? How bad are the petrol taxes?

Attached: petrol taxes.jpg (949x714, 214.59K)

then why does everyone come here to go to collage

>free
These are only the direct taxes, if you add up all it's around 70% for wagies.

Just a question, is there s tax exempt in the tuition costs in the US.

>only income tax
There are so many taxes in fucking everything that most of your money goes into taxes

Is not free in brazil, the taxes payer, pays. At any rate the public universities/college in Brasil are 1000 worse in relate with marxism infestation.
Also, you need to pass a test to enter, and most that do, go do prep school, not to mention that depending on the course you maybe competing with thousands of people.
They are not accessible by all, just a select few that are indoctrinate at any rate.
But yes, even private colleges are cheaper than burger one, you can also apply to several types of scholarship to cut the price even more.
Half a century ago it was way easy to enter the public colleges, now is a big competition.

Do you see a pattern here?

The government started guaranteeing student loans in 1965. This incentivized colleges to raise tuition because everyone has access to infinite money. It also caused them to lower standards to get more people in, and hence more money. With a plethora of college graduates competing for the same jobs, the value of your degree decreases with supply, while the value of the job increases with demand.

To counteract this, the wealthy have taken it upon themselves to make their own jobs rather than to compete for someone else's job. The middle class suffer more every day.

The solution? Stop all government backed student loans, make them all private with subsidies only for controlling interest and interest rates while you study. The lenders, being forced to actually take on risk now that you can dispense your loans in bankruptcy, will come up with models in order to figure out the best degree paths and the best students with the highest success rates and least risk. They will be able to project which degrees will be most valuable and fill in the gaps with loans for students to pursue those degrees, while the less valuable degrees have higher interest rates to offset risk, thus maintaining balance in the job market (ie there wont be 100 art degrees to 1 engineering degree). The most useless degrees will be expensive, highly reducing the demand and the supply of these degrees, making them more valuable for the few who do get them, but still less valuable than the other degrees. It's a good system, and it's how most of finance operates. Imagine if the government guaranteed credit card loans. How many people would rack up large amounts of debt? Do you think credit card companies would impose caps on anyone's credit? Do you think they would deny anyone credit products?

So, free college = rentoid hell. Got it.

Yeah.

what kind of filthy lie is this?

>petrol taxes
These really don't matter since they have competent public transportation.

Free? No.

Good answer, but it leaves out accountability for the universities themselves. Whether loans are government guaranteed or not, universities still get paid and have no incentive to change

>brazil free
Not really. Federal universities are free, but there is a very limited number of students. Plus, recently the education became really shitty since most of the teachers are literal neo-commies.
