The semantic distinction between coloured person and person of colour is literally zero. Its completely arbitrary that one is correct and the other is incorrect and just another opportunity for coloured people to gripe in an age they have so little left to gripe about and must create opportunities to do so. In your own lifetime “person of colour” will be considered offensive and some new term will be pushed. There is no final destination, the goal is perpetual unrest and dissatisfaction.
