get couple billion more people, the way china works is that they have such a large amount of people that they can risk basically failing couple million kids if that means some hundred thousand are super geniuses, they can always send the failures to the rice fields, hard education doesn't mean they all become super smart

This applies to every country at this point. That's how every system works, it's just that China is better at doing so, unlike USA where 3rd graders are being taught that men can become women

what I know about china it's deliberate, the local administrations compete that way, because they only count the math competition winners and physics proteges, the finnish system is over all better for the country because super smart and super pertards are about the same percentage in the overall population, but super smart can be educated in a normal school so only the super retards fail, but in the chinese schools you create excess failures by catering to the ccp agenda of having the worlds top talent in every field
and in the long run, the failed generations will cost something to the society, tho china always has the option to weld them in their apartments or sending them to camps
