I've stopped ladder climbing at work. I know that sounds counter productive, but I've been stressed and unhappy for 6 months doing a role one above mine in a corporate job. It was all to secure an official promotion and title, but I was just climbing out of habit and wrangling 40 retards at once and being responsible for balancing a budget over a million dollars per year when no one wants to work in this company is miserable.
I've determined what would make me happier is less stress and doing the business analysis that I actually enjoy as far as work tasks. I want to get back to that point in my career, because my girlfriend and I are trying for kids now finally (early 30s) and I make enough money, I want to be a healthier person emotionally.
Outside of all that, bike riding every few days and working on an artistic hobby every second night ish for 3 or so hours.
