Communism failed because it did not value private efficiency, effort, or value, and led to market inefficiencies which in turn led to mass starvation.
Natsoc failed because it took the combined military might of the whole 1st world to topple them.

Marx's intentions was to use workers to overthrow the government to install himself in power. His utopian metanarrative of historical materialism with communism as the end goal was but an abstraction that prayed on the uneducated and disenfranchised and wasn't in their interest whatsoever.
Hitler was just as bad as Marx, he was a socialist after all.
