Drought, rampant Wildfires, Worst traffic in the nation, rampant homelessness, air pollution, absurd cost of living etc. etc. State could be the best in the nation but clearly isn't living up to it's full potential, how do we change that? What policies?
>inb4: nuke it all, deserves to die, physically destroy it via x, genocide x group, martial law, segregation, deport all of x, enact insta-communism/fascism/monarchism No meme answers, put out some actual reasonable policies
Nice trips. If you look at a sattelite view of California even along the coast most of the land is completely undeveloped as I recall. I wonder if they could flatten some undevekoped mountains and master plan a new mega city with functional public transport?
Daniel Ross
A psych evaluation for any public sector position or public office, weed out any and all psychopaths. I don't know, that's all I got. You unironically cannot have a functioning California with that many psychopaths in positions of power top-to-bottom. >pic unrelated, it's just dope
They also need to expropriate the water rights. Or do something with them. Some tiny percent of the water goes to people..like 15%. And you have huge farms pumping water completely unchecked from the ground to grow crops in the desert
Samuel Scott
Would be cool to have a proper hypercity, though I wouldn't want anything that takes up to much of the coast, a lot of it is just too dang pretty desu. Though there is some good flat desert there too, could build a hypercity on that, also could be made one of those economic exclusive zones like hong kong to attract investors
Daniel Smith
It is beyond repair at this point. We can only hope for a massive earthquake to reset everything.
Andrew Moore
Yeah I could see something like that, too much corruption and crazies in some of the offices. Tho I'm not sure how you would get a good enough test to do such a thing
Of course pic is related, Cali plates and a palm tree in the back, also points for dope car
Asher Barnes
>beyond repair >clearly didn't fully read post I said no meme answers
Kevin Jackson
Agreed, tho le "crops in the desert" is not entirely true, a lot of the food is grown in the central valley which is a grassland. The big problem is that water is on the strain atm and ppl are trying to grow almonds (each individual almond requires 5 gallons of water to fully grow)

How to fix California Stop welfare. Remove libtarded taxes. Remove libtarded regulations. Stop inviting illegal aliens in. Stop rioters. Lift Covid restrictions. Stop pandering this transgender nonsense.
This will solve CA’s problem. /thread

> What policies? build at least 5 more nuclear power plants along the coast, build desalination plants next to each one. mandate that high power lines be underground. water problems and like 80% of wildfires are solved right there. stop entitlement programs for illegals and stop having insurance cover them. immediately deport all of them and shoot them if they try to re-enter. use all that money saved to fix roads and lower college tuition for citizens. 90% of homeless are homeless by choice, they refuse shelters and jobs. criminalize being homless, and give mental health care to the other 10 % that actually need it. ban money lending to buy homes, let the housing market crash, and then it will come back with much more reasonable prices. wages will increase also to offset it.
I noticed that after I posted the photo lol. Honestly it's sad to see the state California's in. Both my parents grew up there and the majority of both sides of the family still live there. But it's a fucking nightmare now, was well before covid and I don't think people living there realize quite how much of a hellhole they live in. I was last in LA in 2018 and it was already 'wtf' level.
Aaron Scott
Let it go. Turn it into a nature preserve, honestly.
Nolan White
That's not a meme California is on an unrecoverable trajectory until a massive amount of people either die or leave.
Jonathan Watson
Call up the Satanic Worshippers at ThirdNature design they will co-create the space to be community inclusive and weave a web of sacred space which will cost tons of money and make one feel committed to a shared experience.
(I believe this is not considered a meme answer by many in California)
Sebastian Richardson
You can't just build desalination plants anywhere, they can end up harming the ocean life, but I do think we need a few more of them, just selectively and carefully scoped out. I totally agree on the nuclear energy tho, at least half a dozen thorium power plants could quickly get Cali off of most fossil fuels. >illegals If they wanna work here, let them work here, i don't mind them becoming citizens if they want to truly adopt US values and I also don't mind giving them neccasary medical care, i mean looking at most of northern mexico I feel like we'd be doing them a favor. But I do want to put more emphasis and benefits on pre-existing citizens tho, not really necessary to shoot them all up >Homeless I don't think it's necessary to criminalize homelessness, a fair poriton of it is mental health issues, we need to bring back the asylums we already had and put the other homeless in speed built cities away from the downtowns, ship em out of state if they keep refusing beyond that >accelerate housing market Come on user, the better resolution imo would be to ban foreigners and conglomerates buying up homes here, they always pay way to much and exacerbate the situation, after that imo would be to build more multi leveld housing to increase supply and lower demand to reduce costs, and also sponsor more jobs to make it more affordable
>Drought, rampant Wildfires, Worst traffic in the nation, rampant homelessness, air pollution, absurd cost of living etc. etc. raise prices
Nolan Robinson
Physical removal is the only reasonable policy. Difference between genocide, and deportation, is just trivial appeasement of hippies. You can't fix shitskins, you can't fix junkies, and that state is already overpopulated, even if it's population would be normal humans. And stopping all non-white migration is a must, you can't have more of the disgenic element.
Other issue that you don't even have enough fresh water for agriculture, as of now. So you'd need to dam up all the rivers and streams, to collect fresh water, and fuck all the protected fauna, that prevented that prior. Second nuclear powerplants for every city, and those should power mainly desalination plants, to gaing even more fresh water. Now comes the part, that you have to effectively fuck over someone, because all that chemically polluted salt, from desalination, have to be dumped somewhere, and there are few places better, than sub saharan Africa, out of sight. Or fill unused massive surface mines, in otherwise already dead regions, with all that polluted salt.
The most important, is to kill all the jews. Jews are the ones in the way of real solutions, jews are the ones that pushed for policies that caused the damage, and jews are the most greedy and corrupt race on earth, that promotes all evil on others, for jewish gains.
Ryan Perry
Would be a beautiful nature preserve but we can do better than that user desu

>If they wanna work here, let them work here, i don't mind them becoming citizens if they want to truly adopt US values and I also don't mind giving them neccasary medical care tell me you are a spic without telling me you are a spic >the better resolution imo would be to ban foreigners and conglomerates buying up homes here no property tax on your primary home, and punitive levels of property tax on secondary homes. suddenly landlords and corporate owners would offload homes on the cheap as if they were holding hot shit.
